Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar - Duluth

We tried wings and catfish along with their fries and $5 tequila sunrises. Everything was DELICIOUS! The hype surrounding this place is REAL! It really is so good! We arrived at 9:00 pm, and a police officer checked our bags plus pats down the males. No weapons allowed here. The place was vibing, and the bar area was pretty packed with the tvs to the various football games, so lots of yelling and fist bumping ! Plus, music was jammin, so kinda hard to talk more like a bar on the weekends, I'm told. But they have $5 lunch specials Monday thru Friday that are fabulous! Our server was distracted and didn't check on us after bringing the food. But kept going outside on her cell phone. Finally got her for the bill, which took 15 mins at least, so when she came with the check, I gave her my cc, and she wanted my license for verification. Well, when she brought it all back, there wasn't a detailed bill, just the subtotal cc bill, and it was $42.25, so I tipped 20%. Then, I thought to ask for a detailed receipt, which had a cc fee and 20% gratuity already on it! So our not so great server ended up with a 40% tip. I definitely won't make that mistake going forward! I'll definitely be back!

Today we visited Harold's Chicken and had a great time. We arrived around 10pm. Service was good, DJ was good. Drinks and food tasty. My biggest complaint: bar level is too high for the bar chairs. Leave 2 TVs with girls shows on closed caption

After watching the exhilarating Knicks and Philly game on Tuesday. My friend was telling me about how good their food was. This was my first time here! The place had plenty of seating with people eating and smoking hookah. They had the latest music playing over the speakers and televisions playing the Pacers and Bucks games. The table we sat at had a few sticky marks but I will give it a 4/5. The staff were cool and laid back. We ordered the taco special. Beef, shrimp and steak. They had chicken but I didn't get that but I thought I ordered it. The tacos were good. It just took forever to come out. Like over 15 mins! That is the only thing that was not cool. 2/5 The food was a 5/5. Maybe I was hungry but I would come back and eat the tacos. I do want to try the chicken and other popular menu items!

I didn't try the food but heard no complaints from those around me and it smelled identical to the other locations cooking. The bar tender was nice AND NICE LOOKING whew. It was a nice place to sit and wait out traffic. They have a great happy hour Tuesday through Thursday i think are the hours.

I was invited to grab a bite here and beyond their signature chicken wings, I really enjoyed the vibe from the staff. This sports bar offers a variety of tasty foods, a full bar, and TV's everywhere so you can watch the game you want.
